  • Solar Array
  • Fusion Reactor
2

Tier 2 โ€” Processed Materials

9 resources

Steel Alloy

T2

SAL

Smelted metal-crystal alloy used in advanced ship frames and structural reinforcement. A critical intermediate in multi-step manufacturing chains.

Sources

  • Component Factory

Quantum Chip

T2

QCH

Crystal-based processing unit for advanced electronics. Enables quantum-level computation required by targeting systems, warp calculators, and AI cores.

Sources

  • Component Factory

Power Core

T2

PWC

Concentrated energy cell for heavy weapons and capital ships. Stores a controlled antimatter reaction in a stable crystal matrix, releasing energy on demand.

Sources

  • Component Factory

Bio-Circuit

T2

BIO

Bio-material and crystal hybrid component for organic tech. Combines living neural filaments with crystal lattice for self-adapting electronic pathways.

Sources

  • Component Factory

Nano-Fiber

T2

NFB

Molecular-level structural fiber for lightweight armor and high-stress cabling. Stronger than steel alloy at a fraction of the mass.

Sources

  • Component Factory

Plasma Conduit

T2

PLC

High-temperature plasma channel for weapon systems and propulsion. Cast from gas-infused metal alloy able to withstand continuous plasma flow without degradation.

Sources

  • Component Factory

Composite Armor

T2

CMP

Layered defensive composite combining steel alloy and nano-fiber into a single ablative matrix. The standard building block for high-tier shield and armor modules across every shipyard in known space.

Sources

  • Component Factory

Refined Isotope Fuel

T2

ISO

Purified deuterium isotopes refined for maximum energy density. Required fuel for long-range hyperspace jumps and capital-class drive cores that raw gas cannot sustain.

Sources

  • Component Factory
  • Fuel Refinery

Bio-Material

T2

BIO

Cultivated organic matter โ€” proteins, enzymes and engineered cells used in bio-circuitry, regenerative hulls and bio-weapons.

Antimatter

T3

AMT

Extremely rare and volatile substance found in deep void anomalies. Powers the most advanced weapons and technologies.

  • Boss rewards
  • Deep void anomalies

Rare Elements

T3

REL

Exotic elemental compounds found only in asteroid impact craters and anomalies. Essential for legendary equipment.

Sources

  • Asteroid Impact Zones
  • Anomaly Exploration
  • Boss drops

Neutronium Plate

T3

NTP

Ultra-dense armor plating forged from neutron star material. Nearly impervious to conventional weapons and capable of withstanding capital-class weapon impacts.

Sources

  • Component Factory

Resonance Catalyst

T3

RSC

A refined reagent compound used to safely identify and unlock Precursor Artifacts. Without it, an unidentified artifact is an inert and potentially dangerous relic; with it, an artifact's dormant function can be revealed and stabilised for use.

Sources

  • Component Factory
  • Expedition reagent synthesis

Temper Flux

T3

FLX

A precision tempering compound consumed during high-quality weapon and module crafting. Adding flux to a craft job rolls a higher quality tier, turning ordinary blueprints into Epic or Legendary output in the hands of a skilled Weaponsmith.

Sources

  • Component Factory
  • Weaponsmith synthesis

Synth-Enzyme Base

T3

ENZ

A cultured enzyme substrate that stabilises volatile compounds during consumable synthesis. Required for high-potency Chemist recipes โ€” combat stimulants, void-fuel, and bio-drone cores โ€” where an unstabilised batch is as likely to detonate as to dispense.

Tier 4 โ€” Exotic Matter

2 resources

Dark Matter

T4

DM

Exotic matter harvested from black holes and void rifts. Used in premium research and unique cosmetic effects.

How to Maximise Your Resource Production

Four core principles used by veteran commanders to sustain a thriving economy.

โšก

Balance Energy First

Every building consumes Energy. Before upgrading mines or factories, ensure your Solar Arrays and Fusion Reactors provide at least 20% surplus power. An energy deficit halves production across all buildings simultaneously.

๐Ÿ“ˆ

Upgrade Storage in Tandem

Resources above your storage cap are wasted โ€” and raided attackers can only steal what is stored. Upgrade Metal Silos and Crystal Vaults every 3-4 levels of your extraction buildings to avoid overflow losses.

๐Ÿค

Specialise and Trade

No colony excels at every resource equally. Pick 2-3 resources to maximise and trade the surplus on the open market for the rest. Specialisation with active trading yields 40-60% more total value than balanced extraction.

Time Your Logins to Ticks

The server tick fires every 15 minutes. Logging in just after a tick to queue orders and then again just before the next tick to process results lets you act on the freshest production data without continuous monitoring.
