Refund Policy

This policy governs refunds and cancellations for purchases made on Starforge MMO, operated by Starforge Interactive Ltd.. Please read it carefully before making any purchase.
1. Premium Subscription
The Starforge Premium subscription grants enhanced in-game benefits for the duration of your billing period (monthly or annual).
- You may cancel your subscription at any time — no lock-in period applies.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. You retain full Premium access until that date.
- We do not issue partial or pro-rata refunds for unused time remaining in a billing period.
- Exceptions: we will issue a full refund in the event of a double-charge (duplicate billing) or a verified technical failure that prevented delivery of Premium benefits. Contact billing@starforgemmo.com with your order number and we will resolve it promptly.
2. Gem Purchases
Gems are Starforge MMO's virtual currency used for cosmetic items and in-game content. Gems have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real money.
- Gems are non-refundable once the purchase has been confirmed and the Gems have been credited to your account.
- Accidental purchase exception: if you believe you purchased Gems by accident, report this within 48 hours of the transaction. We will review the case and, where the Gems remain unspent, may issue a refund at our discretion.
- How to request: email billing@starforgemmo.com with your order number, the date and amount of the charge, and a brief description of why you are requesting a refund.
4. Chargeback Policy
We understand that billing disputes can arise, and we are committed to resolving all legitimate issues fairly.
- Contact us first. Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider, please contact us at billing@starforgemmo.com. We resolve all legitimate disputes within 5 business days.
- Account suspension. Filing a chargeback without first contacting our billing team will result in immediate suspension of your Starforge MMO account pending investigation. This is necessary to protect against fraud.
- Resolution. Once a chargeback is resolved in our favour or withdrawn, account access will be restored within 1 business day. If the chargeback is upheld by your bank, the account will remain suspended.
5. EU & UK Consumer Rights
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) for digital goods purchased online.
- Cooling-off period. EU and UK consumers have the right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days of the transaction date, without giving any reason, provided the digital service has not yet begun.
- Waiver on purchase. When you complete a purchase on Starforge MMO, we ask for your express consent to begin delivery of the digital content immediately. By confirming your purchase, you acknowledge that your 14-day right of withdrawal is waived once delivery has begun. This confirmation is shown clearly at the checkout screen before payment is taken.
- Statutory rights preserved. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law, including EU Directive 2019/770 on digital content contracts and the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, where goods or services are faulty, misdescribed, or not delivered as advertised.
