Galaxy Sectors
The galaxy is divided into 15 sectors, each with unique resources, dangers, and opportunities. Explore starter zones, contested battlegrounds, and legendary boss territories.
Danger Level Legend
Alpha Sector
Starter SafeSafe zone
Alpha Sector is the designated safe-zone entry point for new commanders โ a carefully curated region where PvP combat is permanently disabled and the twelve colonizable planets provide generous starting resources of metal and crystal. Two anomaly sites offer early exploration rewards without the combat risk of deeper sectors. Alliance veterans occasionally return here as advisors, but no fleet engagement has ever legally occurred within Alpha's borders. Think of it as the galaxy giving you a moment to breathe before everything gets harder.

Trader's Crossroads
Trade HubSafe zone
Trader's Crossroads is a neutral zone maintained by a centuries-old multi-faction agreement that prohibits any single alliance from claiming permanent ownership. Its ten planets serve primarily as station platforms rather than mining worlds, and its real value is the 50% market fee reduction that applies to all trades originating within the sector โ a benefit so substantial that the Free Traders effectively treat it as their second home. The Crossroads operates as an open market where every faction trades freely regardless of diplomatic status, and three anomaly sites near the sector core occasionally surface artifacts that attract academic expeditions from all major factions.

Beta Sector
ContestedSafe zone
Beta Sector is the first contested zone beyond Alpha's protected borders, where alliances establish their first territorial footprints and learn whether their diplomatic agreements survive contact with enemies who also want the same metal deposits. Eighteen colonizable planets and five anomalies make it one of the richest Ring 1 sectors, which is exactly why it is perpetually contested. The 1.5x metal bonus and 1.1x gas bonus attract industrial empires and fleet-builders alike, and the three fortification slots on its siegeable stations make it the first real test of whether your alliance can hold what it claims.

Crystal Nebula
PvE RichContested zone
The Crystal Nebula is a dense stellar nursery whose gas clouds have been seeded with crystalline precipitation from nearby protostars over millions of years, producing the highest crystal yield density of any naturally-occurring region in the known galaxy. The nebula's interference with standard sensor arrays makes it ideal ambush terrain โ which is exactly why Belt Pirate gangs have established permanent patrol networks throughout its eight planets and eight anomaly sites. Commanders who bring sufficient escort firepower to suppress the pirate presence find the 2.0x crystal and 1.5x rare-element bonuses worth every engagement. Solo commanders are strongly advised to bring backup.

Greenline Frontier
npc_empire_territoryContested zone
The Greenline Frontier is the first sector formally designated as NPC-empire territory on the galactic map โ the outer green belt held by the Verdant Concord under Matriarch Veyla Thorn. Its borders are dynamic rather than fixed: they expand, fortify, or recede in response to the Concord's standing agenda and its reputation toward each player. Six agrarian-industrial worlds anchor the Concord's self-sufficiency doctrine, and the sector is the staging ground for the moving front that advances toward Beta Sector when the Concord turns hostile. Players at friendly standing trade freely across the Greenline; players at hostile standing find Castellan Roan Thorn's defensive fleets waiting at every border crossing.

Forge Prime
Industrial HubContested zone
Forge Prime is an ancient industrial sector whose fourteen planets are honeycombed with pre-existing infrastructure that predates all currently known civilisations by at least forty thousand years. The Ancient Builder forges โ enormous fabrication structures of unknown construction methodology โ are fully operational and interface seamlessly with modern shipyard technology, providing the +30% building speed bonus that makes Forge Prime the most coveted industrial territory in the middle rings. Whoever controls Forge Prime builds their fleet faster than anyone else. The four anomaly sites scattered through the sector occasionally yield Ancient Builder tech fragments that can unlock unique research paths unavailable anywhere else.

The Veiled Passage
wormhole_locationContested zone
The Veiled Passage is the first wormhole formally promoted from a transit line to a sector in its own right โ a pocket of folded space large enough to hold an entire expedition fleet, charted as a destination rather than a doorway. It has no colonisable worlds; its 'planets' are drifting derelicts and gravity-locked cargo, and its sole anomaly, the Veiled Passage wormhole, is both the way in and the entire reason to come. Commanders arrive in a hidden anteroom of the galaxy where Black Veil scavengers, dormant Precursor relays, and unclaimed salvage share the same bubble. Most fleets leave richer. A few do not leave at all. The sector cannot be held or taxed โ only entered, looted, and exited.

Ancient Ruins Sector
ExplorationContested zone
The Ancient Ruins Sector is an archaeological treasure trove and active death zone in equal measure. Six planets show evidence of extensive Ancient Builder surface installations โ cities, fabrication complexes, and what appear to be gate arrays connecting to other ruins sectors โ all now silent and guarded by automated sentinel constructs that have faithfully followed their last patrol orders for approximately forty millennia. Technology blueprint drops from defeated sentinels are the sector's primary draw: weapons, drive systems, and structural technologies that mainstream science is only beginning to rediscover. The 3.0x artifact and 1.5x crystal bonuses reflect the extraordinary density of ancient material left behind.

Void Expanse
Deep SpaceExtreme zone
The Void Expanse occupies the galactic rim where stellar density drops to near zero and the electromagnetic quiet strips away most sensor support that commanders take for granted in inner sectors. Five planets โ all barren or exotic-class โ offer almost no colonisation value, but fifteen anomaly sites scattered across the region produce 3.0x dark matter and 2.0x antimatter yields that make it irreplaceable for late-game capital-ship construction and advanced weapon research. Player versus player combat is unregulated and constant; alliances that attempt to hold this sector report a near-continuous rotation of raids from rivals who want those exotic resources. Only fleets of sustained strength can maintain presence here.

Abyssal Deep
deep_space_expeditionExtreme zone
Abyssal Deep is the first sector formally classified as a Deep Space expedition zone โ a region that cannot be colonised, held, or taxed, and exists only as a destination for committed expedition fleets. There are no planets here in any conventional sense; the sector's four exotic-class bodies are sensor-ghosts more than worlds, and its sixteen anomaly sites are the entire reason anyone comes. The Abyssal Deep anomaly produces epic-tier artifacts at a density found nowhere in the charted galaxy, but every site is an expedition in itself: no reinforcements, no recall, and a fuel drain that punishes any commander who overstays. Fleets enter committed and leave only if they planned the exit before they arrived.

Leviathan's Lair
Boss ZoneExtreme zone
Leviathan's Lair is a gravitationally distorted region of space that the Cosmic Leviathan has claimed as its domain for as long as sensor records exist. Three barely-colonisable worlds orbit at irregular intervals shaped by the creature's gravitational influence, and twenty anomaly sites โ the densest anomaly concentration in known space โ produce artifact and rare-element yields that have made raid attempts consistently worthwhile despite the terrifying casualty rates. The sector is accessible only to organised raid groups, and PvP is suspended during active boss engagements so that participating players can focus on the Leviathan rather than each other. The weekly reset means a fresh kill cycle every 168 hours.

Deep Void Sector
closed_galaxyExtreme zone
The Deep Void Sector lies beyond the known galaxy's navigable boundaries, sealed behind a gate array of Ancient Builder construction that required โ and still requires โ a catastrophic crystal energy input to breach. Seven planets of exotic or barren classification orbit a stellar remnant that produces no useful light, making navigation entirely dependent on instrument arrays. Twenty-five anomaly sites generate the highest dark matter and antimatter concentrations in the game, attracting only the most heavily armed and desperate fleets. There are no safe zones, no newbie protections, and no diplomatic agreements that hold once the Void Gate closes behind you. The gate seals itself after 6 hours and requires another server-wide crystal donation to reopen.

Ancient Ruins โ Inner Sanctum
closed_galaxyExtreme zone
The Inner Sanctum is the most protected region in the Ancient Builder network โ a sector accessible only after the server collectively defeats the guardian construct Nexus-Prime ten times, with each kill requiring its own coordinated raid effort. Four planets of exotic-class formation orbit in perfect geometric arrangement around a central anomaly of unknown nature, and eighteen anomaly sites scattered through the sector produce artifact yields eight times the galactic baseline. Ancient Builder archive fragments found here have allowed researchers to reconstruct partial records of their civilisation's final days. What those records describe has not been publicly released by any of the alliances that have reached the Inner Sanctum so far.

Obsidian Reach
dark_zoneExtreme zone
Obsidian Reach is the galaxy's first dedicated Dark Zone โ an endgame sector built around a single uncompromising premise: everything valuable is here, and nothing here is protected. Free-for-all PvP is permanent and unregulated, faction law does not reach this far, and the sector's premium drop tables produce legendary blueprints and artifacts available nowhere else in the game. Its three exotic worlds are staging points rather than homes; no alliance can hold the Reach, because holding requires defending, and in a zone where every fleet is hostile to every other fleet, defence is a slow form of death. The real challenge is never finding loot โ it is surviving the extraction once everyone else knows you have it.

Stellar Gateway
closed_galaxyExtreme zone
The Stellar Gateway is the game's ultimate endgame region โ an inter-galactic transit corridor whose activation requires 100 individual commanders to reach Empire Level 30, representing the most demanding collective achievement in the game. Ten planets of mixed exotic and barren classification and thirty anomaly sites await beyond the threshold, yielding credits, dark matter, and rare elements at rates that dwarf anything available in the known galaxy. The Gateway itself appears to be an Ancient Builder construct of a different generation than those found in the Ruins Sector โ more complex, less understood, and apparently capable of reopening once closed, unlike the single-use Void Gate. What exists beyond the Gateway is classified by every faction that has entered it.
