Alliance Wars in Starforge MMO

Capture sectors. Lay siege to stations. Forge pacts. Wage war across the galaxy.

The Galaxy Is Worth Fighting For

Alliance Wars are the beating heart of large-scale play in Starforge MMO. Alliances of players battle for permanent control of galactic sectors in conflicts that unfold over days and weeks, not minutes. Every captured sector shifts the balance of power across the map.

These are not scripted skirmishes. War is driven entirely by players: who allies with whom, which station gets besieged at dawn, when a coalition forms to topple a reigning superpower. The galaxy's history is written by the alliances bold enough to fight for it.

How Alliance Wars Work

Four pillars of conquest — capture, siege, diplomacy, and territory.

Sector Capture

Defeat a sector's defenders and hold the objective through a contested timer to claim it. Owned sectors grant resource and strategic bonuses — and paint a target on your back for rival alliances.

Station Sieges

Break through layered station defenses in multi-stage sieges. Attackers must coordinate waves while defenders man turrets, scramble fleets, and call for reinforcements before the walls fall.

Pacts & Diplomacy

War is not only fought with weapons. Sign non-aggression pacts, broker trade truces, or assemble a coalition to crush a dominant alliance. Betrayal is always a card on the table.

Territory Bonuses

Each held sector contributes to your alliance's economy and supply lines. Control a constellation and you control its trade lanes, its rare resources, and the strategic high ground.

Roles Within the Alliance

A winning war fleet is a machine of specialised pilots. Find your role.

Vanguard

Heavy frontline ships that absorb fire and break enemy formations. The tip of every assault.

Artillery

Long-range damage dealers that shatter sieges from a distance while screened by the vanguard.

Logistics

Repair, resupply, and shield-support pilots who keep the fleet alive through prolonged engagements.

Recon

Fast scouts and cloaked pilots who scout enemy movements, tag targets, and call the timing of every push.

Battles Rendered in Real 3D

When a siege erupts, you see it. Starforge renders fleet engagements as full real-time 3D battles in your browser — capital ships trading broadsides, fighter swarms weaving through flak, stations venting plasma as their shields collapse. No download, no client; just open a tab and command.

Strategy and spectacle meet. The same engagement that decides who owns a sector is also a cinematic worth watching unfold.

Alliance Wars FAQ

What are Alliance Wars in Starforge MMO?

Alliance Wars are large-scale, persistent conflicts between player alliances over control of galactic sectors. Alliances capture sectors, besiege enemy stations, and sign pacts, with battles involving dozens of players fighting simultaneously.

How does sector capture work?

To capture a sector, your alliance must defeat its defenders and hold the objective for a contested window. Holding a sector grants resource bonuses and strategic positioning, but neighbouring alliances can lay siege to take it back.

Do I need to be in an alliance to play?

No — solo play is fully supported. But Alliance Wars are designed for organised groups. Joining an alliance unlocks coordinated warfare, shared objectives, and roles that turn individual pilots into a fighting force.
