TFS Sovereign Throne
Faction: terran federation
Overview
The apex of Federation military engineering. There is only one Sovereign Throne in active service — a command ship so monumental that its presence alone reshapes the strategic calculus of entire sectors. Its command decks are equipped with real-time holographic displays covering every system within a dozen light-years, and its AI coordination network links every Federation ship in the theatre into a single coherent fighting force.

Lore
Commanders who sit in its chair are not given authority. They radiate it. The enemy does not need to see the Sovereign Throne to know it has arrived — they simply notice that every Federation ship in the sector begins acting like it knows exactly what they are thinking.
Tactics
- 1
Never commit the Sovereign Throne to a direct engagement without a full escort screen — its value as a fleet coordinator vastly exceeds its direct combat contribution, and losing it collapses the +10% accuracy network for every allied ship in theatre.
- 2
Use the EMP Projectors to shut down enemy command ships first; without their fleet buffs, opposing formations lose coordination and become far easier for your conventional fleet to pick apart.
- 3
In prolonged campaigns, position the Sovereign Throne at the rear of the formation and rotate escort corvettes to prevent enemy fighters from reaching it — its Ultra-Heavy Rail Cannons can engage threats at range while escorts handle close interdiction.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths
- +Fleet-wide AI coordination network grants +10% accuracy to every Federation ship in theatre — a bonus that compounds across a large fleet into decisive damage advantages.
- +Four Command Slots and a Flag Bridge allow it to stack multiple fleet-command buffs simultaneously, making it the most powerful fleet multiplier in the game.
- +Hull of 8,000 and shields of 5,000 make it extraordinarily survivable even without a dedicated escort, giving it rare flexibility as both command hub and frontline combatant.
Weaknesses
- −Losing the Sovereign Throne mid-battle collapses the fleet-wide accuracy bonus instantly — enemies will specifically target it to neutralise the command advantage.
- −Speed of 12 is the second-slowest in the Tier 5 capital roster — repositioning during a rapidly evolving battle is effectively impossible.
- −Requires 259,200 seconds (3 days) to build and demands dark_matter resources that are among the rarest in the game.
